FAQ
1. Can manuscripts be submitted to the JITMBA at any time of the year?
Yes, the journal accepts submissions throughout the year without any restrictions. Manuscripts can be submitted at any time, and the publication timeline depends on the outcome of the review process and the editor's decision. Early submission is recommended.
2. What is the usual timeline for publishing in JITMBA after submitting a manuscript?
Once a manuscript is submitted, it goes through an editorial review and a peer review process by at least two reviewers. The timeline may vary based on the availability of reviewers and interactions between the authors and editors. We strive to ensure a thorough yet efficient review process.
3. Can my manuscript be fast-tracked for publication to meet a graduation requirement?
All submissions undergo the same thorough peer review process, and editors cannot guarantee or speed up acceptance. It is advisable not to mention graduation deadlines and allow the standard review process to proceed.
4. Can I submit my manuscript via email?
No, JITMBA uses an online submission system for all manuscript submissions and communications. Submissions must be made through the journal’s website to allow real-time status tracking.
5. Can I request that my manuscript be prioritized or expedited?
Editors manage all submissions as efficiently as possible while balancing various responsibilities. Special requests for prioritization should be avoided, as they may appear inappropriate.
6. Can I know when my submission will be accepted and published?
The exact acceptance and publication timelines can only be determined once the peer review process is completed. Estimated durations are available on the journal's website, and it's best to avoid asking about decision dates.
7. When will I receive the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) if my submission is approved?
The Letter of Acceptance will be issued only after the manuscript has been approved by the editor following the review process. Authors should not expect the LOA immediately after submission.
