Archive Policy

Archive Policy

The Journal of Information Technology, Management, Behaviour, and Analytics (JITMBA) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. To achieve this, we have implemented a comprehensive archiving policy that safeguards the digital content against loss, corruption, or technological obsolescence. Our archive policy is designed to ensure that articles published in JITMBA remain accessible for future generations of researchers and readers.

1. Digital Archiving

All articles published in JITMBA are digitally archived and preserved in trusted and reliable repositories to ensure their long-term availability. We utilize the following methods for archiving:

  • Institutional Repositories: All articles are stored in institutional repositories that comply with international archiving standards.
  • Third-Party Archiving Services: We partner with digital archiving services, such as [name any archiving service, e.g., LOCKSS, Portico], to ensure permanent preservation of the journal content.
  • Journal Website: Published articles are permanently hosted on the JITMBA website and are accessible without restriction.

2. Self-Archiving by Authors

Authors are permitted and encouraged to archive their final published version (PDF) of the article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other non-commercial databases immediately upon publication. Authors do not need to seek permission to self-archive, provided they credit JITMBA as the original source of the publication and include a link to the official article.

3. Open Access and Accessibility

JITMBA follows an open access model, making all published articles freely accessible online without subscription barriers. By maintaining open access, we ensure that the research published in our journal can be retrieved by anyone, anywhere in the world, now and in the future.

4. Backup and Redundancy

To prevent accidental data loss, we ensure that our servers and storage facilities are backed up regularly. Redundant copies of the journal content are kept in secure locations to prevent loss due to unforeseen technical failures.

5. Preservation of Published Articles

In the event that JITMBA ceases publication, all published articles will continue to be available through our archiving services and partner repositories. This ensures that the scholarly record is maintained and that all articles remain available for reference and citation.
